The Alamo Business Council (ABC) was established in 1984 as a social organization. The purpose of ABC is to provide a social forum for fellowship, mutual support, information and recreational opportunities. The Alamo Business Council is not involved in political activism, nor will it take position stances on various issues. The highest level of professionalism shall be maintained at all social events, functions and meetings sponsored by the Alamo Business Council.
The Alamo Business Council was established to serve our community in San Antonio.
ABC members can attend the “First Tuesday” monthly meetings. There may be a program with a guest speaker, but the main focus is always on socializing with members and enjoying the food of interesting or new restaurants.
ABC members have the opportunity to enjoy monthly social functions in addition to regular meetings. The free “Third Friday” cocktail party and buffet is paid for out of dues and is the most popular event where you can visit, network and enjoy the club. Other events include special interest groups: restaurants, plays, movies, or exhibits.
ABC members receive a monthly newsletter giving advance notice of all ABC events.
ABC members are given priority for reservations for dinners and special events and receive discounts for functions which require paid admission
ABC members have the opportunity to regularly associate with other business and professional individuals of the community.
